Vaser Neck Liposuction

We perform all of our neck liposuction procedures at Cosmos Aesthetics with Vaser technology, an advanced method of liposuction that allows for a gentler fat removal, stimulates skin tightening and produces natural-looking results. Vaser liposuction uses ultrasound technology to melt the unwanted fat in the neck before it is suctioned away with a small cannula. When the melted fat is suctioned out, the chance of harming the surrounding tissues of the treated area is prevented, as it does not require a more invasive method of scraping out the fat as required with alternative methods of liposuction.

To achieve toned results that eliminate sagging skin on the neck, the ultrasound energy prompts a skin-tightening effect by stimulating the collagen fibres in the skin. After the neck liposuction procedure, the skin will retract to the slimmer neck contour, contributing to the youthful-looking results.

The Vaser neck liposuction procedure is suitable for those who have a lower to moderate amount of stubborn fat and mild skin laxity under the chin and around the jawline that they want to remove, with a less invasive procedure than a traditional neck lift. The procedure can significantly improve the appearance of the neck, chin and jawline, removing a double chin or turkey neck without invasive surgery.

Neck liposuction with Vaser technology is associated with less downtime, smoother results, and a lower chance of scarring than traditional methods of liposuction or neck lifts. The initial recovery time lasts about seven days and involves wearing a compression garment to support the best results possible. The results of the neck liposuction procedure can be seen straight away, however, about four to six weeks is needed for the full results to become visible as the body heals. Sufficient time is needed for swelling to subside and for the skin tightening process to take place, revealing a more defined neck, chin and jawline.
