THE TREATMENT
Kybella is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment for adults that reduces moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat).
The procedure typically takes 20-30 minutes, during which up to 50 injections are administered to the targeted area. The surrounding healthy cells, including nerves and muscles, remain unaffected when the procedure is performed by a trained professional.
To reduce discomfort, the area is numbed before treatment. Patients commonly report mild to moderate sensations during the procedure, which subside shortly after.
Prices vary between patients, but here is a rough outline.
For an accurate and personalised quote, you’ll need to book in a consultation.
Kybella may be suitable for individuals over 18 with fat deposits under the chin due to weight changes or genetics. This procedure offers an alternative for those not eligible for other treatments like CoolSculpting (which requires a specific applicator size) or those who prefer not to undergo surgery.
This procedure may also be used for fat deposits in areas such as the neck, under the buttocks, armpits, or above the knees.
